QUEEN URE CRIES OUT: I NEED A BOYFRIEND!

Are you a guy out there dying to date life coach and Popori singer, Queen Ure? Are you honest and caring? You just might be the lucky guy who steals her heart away.

Ure has disclosed that she’s lonely and would love to have a real man in her life. In an exclusive chat with tonyogagablog, Ure, who released her debut album early last year shared her romantic dreams.

Draped in a white see through top, a pair of figure-hugging black denims and heels to match, Ure cuts the image of a sophisticated and successful woman who knows her onions as she settled into a seat in a popular hotel located in Omole, Lagos, last week.

“No there’s nobody there right now,” retorts Ure, responding to questions on her love life, “at the moment I really don’t have a boyfriend but I’d like to have one,” she croons sexily as her features dissolve in a pleasant smile.

So what are those qualities she’s looking out for?

“One is that he has to be an honest person; most guys these days play games. Maybe ladies play games too but I don’t. I guess I’m just taking my time. I’d want to get involved with someone who’s straight forward; that’s my number one requirement. My man has to be straight forward and honest; it’s not like I’m keeping to myself or being selective, it’s just that I need to feel him, he has to be real; I’m not feeling the guys around me right now.”

What’s her relationship with her ex, Soul E? Are they still talking? Are they friends?

“No,” Ure retorts shaking her head to drive home her point as another smile emphasizes her dimples, “Soul E belongs to my past. For heaven’s sake, this is 2014!”

HOW THE SUN GENERAL EDITOR SAVED MY LIFE-NGOZI NWOSU

Actress, Ngozi Nwosu, has opened up on how The Sun Newspapers came to her rescue last year at the height of her battle with kidney failure.

In an exclusive chat with tonyogagablog during the 11th edition of The Sun Awards, held at the Expo Hall of Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nwosu, who has since returned to Nollywood described The Sun’s ex Sunday Editor, Funke Egbemode, as the angel that saved her life.

“I’m very grateful to Funke Egbemode and by extension, The Sun Newspapers for saving my life. Without her I probably wouldn’t be here today celebrating with The Sun; she’s the angel that saved my life.”

According to Nwosu, she had no idea of the role Ebgemode played in saving her life until she got a cheque from the Lagos State government which covered the entire cost of her treatment in India.

“After I got my cheque from the Lagos State Government, some officials called me aside and advised me to thank Funke Egbemode because she was the one that took my case directly to Governor Fashola. I was deeply moved because I had never met her in person. Finally I called her to thank her for showing me so much love.”

Nwosu reveals that when she eventually called Egbemode to thank her, what she got was a surprise gift: “I thanked her for being there for me and prayed that God should always be there for her. It was then she told me something that really struck me. She said ‘Ngozi, when I lost my husband a couple of years ago, the role you played in Fuji House of Commotion, gave me a lot of inspiration that helped me pull through. You touched my life in a very unique way.’ I was so overjoyed to know that what I do on TV was really touching lives. Funke blessed me in a very special way and I’ll always be grateful to her.”

DAY FASHOLA, PETER OBI DANCED GALALA

Governor Fashola and his Anambra State counterpart, Peter Obi, proved that despite their busy schedules, leadership is not all about work and no play. Last week Sunday, during the 7th edition of Silverbird Man of The Year Award, held at The Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, the serving governors got down with Ghetto Soldier, Daddy Showkey, and gave a good account of themselves as they danced galala to the delight of the audience.

Fashola and Obi, winners of the Silverbird Man of The Year Award got could not restrain themselves as Daddy Showkey performed his classic, Diana. They both joined him in bending and twisting to the rhythm.

MONEY FOR SEX MADE ME DUMP FACEBOOK-COSSY ORJIAKOR

Actress, Cossy Orjiakor, has broken the silence on why she’s not been active on social media platform, facebook. According to her, she chose to quit after an impostor posing as her started demanding money for sex on the platform from unsuspecting people.

“I’ve not been on facebook for like eight months and it’s because there’s somebody that’s impersonating me. There’s this popular but bogus profile on facebook that’s not me claiming to be my public profile; it’s really annoying. I’ve seen where this impostor was discussing money for sex with people and it was quite embarrassing so I decided not to be on facebook but I’m on twitter now.”

FEMI LASODE SET TO RAISE THE BAR WITH STOLEN TREASURES

Ex PMAN president, movie maker and arts impresario, Femi Lasode, is back with a bang! As you read this story, he’s on location in Lekki, Lagos, shooting his next movie entitled Stolen Treasures.

“This is a project that’s very close to my heart. I’ve been dreaming of this project forever. Stolen Treasures is all about creating awareness about Nigeria’s stolen artifacts abroad. We need to highlight the issue of the need to recover our artifacts. I am not the first to do it though; Chief Eddie Ugboma did it in his movie, The Mask. We want people to be aware that this is a very important issue. All our artifacts are in Paris and other museums around the world; what we are doing is creating awareness about our African heritage and the need to retrieve these artifacts,” an excited Lasode told The Entertainer.

Written by Lasode, Stolen Treasures is an adventure story about a Briton who stumbles on the map of a treasure throve buried somewhere in Nigeria. Charmed by the lucre that lay waiting for him if he could locate the treasure, he embarks on a journey to Africa that takes him to Nigeria and then a tale of romance, betrayal and breath taking adventure begins to unfold as the characters are engaged in a race against time to lay their hands on the treasure.

The cast includes Prisca Iwuoha, Belinda Effah, Angel Ufuoma, Clarion Chukwura AMAA award winner, Gbenga Richards, veterans, Chief Eddie Ugboma and Larry Williams, Wale Adebayo, Afro beat singer Alariwo, Jide Kosoko, Seyi Allen, Phillippe and Meanwhile, Lasode also opened on his film village: “We’ve been hearing about film villages all over but we haven’t seen anything. Primarily the film shoot is to promote my film village because we believe the film village should be self sufficient. We are using this as a test run. We are in partnership with Best Resort Hotels and were building a film village at Majekodunmi Farms. We are building from scratch and that’s the reason you see so much equipment around. Everything here is going to be used for the film village.”

On why he chose to write such a script, Lasode continued: “I love adventurous stories. I grew up on them. Indiana Jones was one of my favourites; I haven’t seen anything like that in Nigeria; something that even kids would enjoy.”

RAPE ALLEGATIONS: MY HANDS ARE CLEAN-OBESERE

Fuji star, Obesere, has denied stories in the media alleging

that he raped a lady recently. In a statement from his publicist, Deola Adeoti, Obesere declared the allegations as false and as an attempt to extort money from him gone wrong!

“Obesere came in contact with Miss Olanike Olaiya, on February 5, 2014 in Ibadan, through his friend, Bola Okoro, for an ongoing business project tagged: Obesere Rice. She’s supposed to be one of the beneficiaries. She came to Obesere’s Lagos residence in Okota on February 10, 2014, to discuss business and obviously, an intimate relationship between two consenting adult developed.

According to Adeoti, probably awed by Obesere’s aura, she was all over him, entering every nook and cranny of his home like the woman of the house and even offering to do the cooking and making several advances for a romantic relationship. He says one thing led to the other and Olaiya offered to stay the night.

“After having a swell time, she departed the following day with smiles so it was with shock and utter surprise that Obesere got an invitation from the Isolo Police Division that a girl, who departed happily from his home four days earlier, had accused him of rape. Obesere thought it was a joke until he got to the Police Station.

Consequently, Adeoti queries: “How could a willing relationship between two consenting adults result in rape? What is the evidence? Why did it take her four days to report the case? It is quite evident that something is amiss,” Adeoti argued as he added, “the questions on the lips of many are, ‘is it believable for Obesere, considering his status to rape against the backdrop of female fans and admirers at his beck and call? Has a medical doctor examined her claim that a ring was inserted into her private part? And why has she been on the run ever since the case was transferred to Panti?

The answers to these questions are obvious and time will certainly expose the litany of lies from this under-30 lady who wants to reap from where she has not sewn?” Adeoti declared.

KERRYMONDS

The Kerrymonds are a musical group made up of two awesomely talented young men: Kayode adeniyi Ogedengbe (aka. Edi) and Akilo Tobiloba Matthew (aka Tobo). That was how they came about their former group name Edictos Boys. But in 2012, when they came to Lagos they had to change their name to Kerrymonds when people told them that the former name sounded local. The group was formed in 2008 when the two boys were students of Ode Ekiti High school. They used to entertain the school during Social night. That attracted the attention of the school principal Mr Ojo, who coincidentally shares the same name with Edi's dad. He took an interest in the boys and encouraged them to take it further, sometimes even financing their studio sessions. Kerrymonds' break came when they did a song for Honourable Bamidele Faparusi aka Fappi, for his campaign into the Federal House of Representatives. Hon. Fappi liked the song and decided to support Kerrymonds' music career. Since then, they've been in the studios and the results are two smashing singles: Shake Igboro, and Ele to Shan ft. Samklef. They are presently working on their debut music video while promoting their singles.

FASHOLA, ABIKE DABIRI-EREWA FOR GAME 2013

All is set for the second edition of Goal Attainment Made Easy (GAME2013), which holds on November 29 and 30 at Oriental Hotel, Lagos. Gospel singer, Nikki Laoye, has defended her bold dress sense after she popped up at launch of Ebonylife TV draped in a daring and revealing gown where she did a beautiful rendition of the national anthem. In a chat with Superbass, the Angel 4 Life singer said laughing: “First, I would like to say that a onetime style look does not define my total dress sense. I hardly wear dresses or skirts. TV hunk, Desmond Elliot, has declared that his wife of nine years and mother of his two sets of twins, Vicky, is not intimidated by his armada of female fans. He made this disclosure at the Silverbird Galleria during this year’s edition of AIFF where he went home with three awards. “I’ve been in this industry for 15 years and it’s always been with her so I don’t think it’s anything too difficult or special,” Elliot beamed with smiles clutching his awards as he spoke to Skoops with camera bolds flashing, “she trusts me and understands the nature of my job. FEMI KUTI’S LIZARD SCARE

It has emerged that afro beat King, Femi Kuti, just can’t stand lizards as he has a strong fear for the crawling creatures. A mild drama played out last week during the press conference for this year’s edition of Muson Jazz Festival, which was held at The Agip Hall of The Muson Centre, Omikan, Lagos, last week. A jittery Femi had broken the news that a lizard was stuck in his car as he addressed journalists declaring that the sight scared the living day lights out of him! Guests who felt he was joking where shocked when after the event, Femi recruited people including vocal powerhouse, Yinka Davies who did all they could to dislodge the lizard unsuccessfully. “I was driving when suddenly I saw the lizard’s head emerge from the ventilation shaft. I was scared! Before I knew it, it disappeared. If that lizard pops up when I am on Third Mainland Bridge, I could have ended up in the lagoon. Please help me dislodge it; I’m scared of lizards!” he lamented.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS DAY PCI takes message to Mile 2 International Park

As part of activities marking the World Human trafficking Day which was held on Monday, September 23, Osita Oseneme’s Patriotc Citizens Initiatives (PCI), paid a visit to Mile 2 International Park on Monday, September 23 and held an interactive session with drivers who ply the international route. Commenting after the interactive session, Oseneme said his NGO decided to use the opportunity to interact with international drivers. According to him: “Today has been very successful and among others we were able to understand to a greater degree, the implication of human trafficking and the roles we as individuals could play including drivers in curbing the menace. They (drivers) also shared their experiences regarding human trafficking both within and outside Nigeria and it was quite revealing.” According to him, Nigerians are willing to identify and partner relevant agencies as far as the fight against human trafficking is concerned. Osemene added that Mile 2 International Park was chosen because of its strategic nature as far as traveling out of Nigeria by road is concerned. “We have asked them not to hesitate to contact us or the nearest security agency once they identify human traffickers and their victims. Not less than 10, 000 people are trafficked on a daily basis from here; this needs urgent attention.” Commenting, Hanson Offor, a driver who is the Chairman of Igbo Drivers Union at the park described human trafficking as a sad development: “It’s very sad that we see these things and we cannot help. I am proud to be a Nigerian and when I see Nigerians suffering outside this country I feel helpless. This year I have rescued four or five victims and brought them back home from Ghana. I saw one last week but I couldn’t help; he was a 14 year old stranded in Ghana. We welcome this initiative. We need more organizations like Patriotic Citizens Initiative so we can expose the hazards of human trafficking and discourage it.”

Omoge Man, Mike Okri is back and vocal power house, Omawunmi is his new Omoge! The singer has just released the remix of his hit song, Omoge, featuring the nightingale from Port Harcourt. Okri who has just relocated back home from the US told superbassnaija during his birthday bash that the objective of Omoge remix is to bring back what he described as good music like it was back in his day: “We are bringing back good music. I have 14 tracks in the album that would soon be released and I must say that working with Omawunmi and the crew was a great experience. It’s been very interesting and I thank them all. FATAI ROLLING DOLLAR RESURRECTS

Late juju and highlife legend, Fatai Rolling Dollars has resurrected in a new flick. He will be on parade when actress and movie producer, Funmi Fiberesima’s new flick entitled, Onikola premiers. The late highlife/juju legend is part of the cast of a new flick which seeks to create awareness about the scourge of female genital mutilation, popularly practiced in Nigeria and Africa. Disclosing that she had completed work on the flick, Funmi said: “Onikola is a film that brings to light the harmful side effects of female circumcision without over flogging the message. It’s a very entertaining-romantic movie. It’s the kind of movie that would provoke debate on the evil of female circumcision.” Written by Gbenga Adesanya, Steve Anu Adesemoye, and Abosede Oshin, other members of the cast are Funmi Fiberesima, Dejumo Lewis, Ara, Sunday Afolabi Ronke Ojo and Ibrahim Chatta among a host of others. “The movie is coming at a time when the fate of the girl child in Nigeria is hanging in the balance. Nigeria is fast becoming a dangerous place to have a daughter if you are middle class and below. With our legislator making pedophilia legal, this is a call to all who care to stand with us to make Nigeria safe again for our daughters,” Funmi added. The movie will be release in cinemas before the end of the year.

WHY WE INVOLVED CELEBRITIES IN HANG UP & DRIVE CAMPAIGN-IKEH OKONKWO

If what the world Health Organisation (WHO), has revealed about accidents and the impact it’s having on the younger generation is anything to go by, then the recently held Hang Up & Drive campaign, targeting youths within the age demographic of 15 and 29 is timely. According to WHO statistics, accident injuries are the leading cause of death among youths between the age demographic of 15 to 25 and this is a consequence of distracted driving. Little wonder Arrive Alive Safety Initiative and Box Office Development in conjunction with the Federal Road Safety (FRSC) and a number of corporate bodies including Road Safety Coalition have put together the first ever in a series of campaigns aimed at raising awareness on the dangers of distracted driving. The event, which was held at the University of Lagos Auditorium penultimate week and which attracted students from the University of Lagos, Yabatek and LASU to mention a few also witnessed performances from celebrities including Malaika. Commenting, Ikeh Okonkwo of Arrive Alive Safety Initiative said: “The campaign is in response to the increasing number of accidents on our roads owing to the indiscriminate use of mobile phones t the wheel. We are reaching out to people in the demographic of 15 and 29 hence our decision to be on campus today. “Hearing is believing, when you hear that the use of phones while driving kills from top celebrities, you will believe. When they see what we will demonstrate today they will believe because it’s for their own good and the good of the nation. This will lead to reduction in death.”

Fast rising porn queen, Afrocandy, has mocked Ini Edo and Mercy Johnson on social media describing them as poverty-stricken-wannabes who were begging for roles when she was on the verge of making it big in Nollywood. FEMI KUTI, YINKA DAVIES TO HEADLINE MUSON JAZZ FESTIVAL 2013

As the countdown to the annual MUSON Jazz Festival begins, the organizers have revealed that this year’s edition, which will hold on August 19, at the Shell Hall of the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos, will be headlined by two of Nigeria’s contemporary music icons, Femi Kuti and Yinka Davies. According to an official of Muson Jazz Festival: “Preparations are already in top gear to make it an unforgettable experience. This year lovers of jazz and jazz related music are in for a swell time. We are delighted to inform you that Femi Kuti and Yinka Davies will headline this year’s edition.”

The Supermom Season 1V will focus on selfless women-Sola Fajobi

Sola Fajobi, CEO, Digital Interactive Media (DIM), organizers of the annual reality TV show, The Supermom, has disclosed that Season 1V will be dedicated to celebrating female founders and managers of orphanages dedicated to raising children that are not biologically theirs, hence the theme: The Heart of Gold. Said Fajobi: “The new season is about celebrating mothers dedicated to raising children that are not biologically theirs. It’s much easier to raise your own child but it’s a different kettle of fish when the child or children you are raising are not yours. You will have moment of doubt, discouragement, and generally feel overwhelmed especially when you are not doing it for financial gains. “These women who are founders of orphanages and homes demonstrate love beyond biological attachment, sacrifice with lean resources and put their money where their mouth is. We need to show them love and appreciate them for making our society saner by contributing their quotas to making Nigeria better,” Fajobi said. Wasiu Ayinde Marshal’s (K1 The Ultimate) plans to run for elective office in the 2015 general elections on the platform of ACN in Ogun State has received a major boost as Fuji star, Muri Thunder has thrown his weight behind his campaign.

Actress, Bimbo Akintola has thrown her weight behind the controversial Nollywood @ 20 celebrations which kicks-off in a couple of weeks from now. In a chat with Superbass, contrary to views in some quarters, the actress declared that the controversy trailing Nollywood @ 20 celebrations was not necessary as it in no way undermines the history of the motion picture industry. The actress declared that Nollywood is all about digital format while the likes of Hubert Ogunde and Dr Sola Balogun belong to the celluloid era. “Nollywood is about digital format so Nollywood is 20 because we are talking about everything digital which is 20 years old this year. Before then, what we used to have was film. Hubert Ogunde and all the others shot on 33mm which is celluloid. That’s another industry. Nollywood is definitely 20 years old! They shot on digital camera which is bigger and better.”

Sad, sad Audu Maikori

These are definitely not the best of times for boss of Chocolate City, Audu Maikori. Sources say he is sad that his cookies seem to be crumbling right, left and center having invested so much in music. “Only a while ago, Jezze Jags, the producer on the platform quit amid hopes that he would renew his contract. Attempts to make him change his mind hit the rocks and he has since moved on. The label was yet to come to terms with his exit when Brymo decided it was all over with Chocolate City!” an insider told Skoops. “Audu is very sad over this development. He has invested so much in music and empowered these artistes so why are they turning their backs on him now? Whether we like it or not, he has contributed in no small measure to the growth of the industry and the records are there. He picked his crew from nothing and made them stars and now they seem to be dumping him. First Miss Nigeria, Grace Oyelude crowns Anyadoha Ezinne Akudo, Miss Nigeria 2013

Twenty three year-old Anyadoha Ezinne Akudo has emerged Miss Nigeria 2013 after a keenly contested battle, held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. She was crowned by the winner of the maiden edition of Miss Nigeria in 1957, Grace Oyelude. Commenting on her victory, Akudo, who beat 20 other contestants to clinch the first position which came with N3million, a car and a trip to California and who is also a graduate of law from Abia State University (ABSU) said: “I am so excited to have won. There were many other pretty girls who contested, but I won. Thank God for this victory.” Meanwhile, she also clinched the award for Miss Photogenic while Celestine Queen went home with the Miss Congeniality award. Guests who graced the event included ex-Nigerian international, Jay Jay Okocha, ex-Miss Nigeria, Helen Prest Ajayi, first Miss Nigeria ever, Grace Oyelude, Dakore Egbuson and hubby and Betty Irabor to mention a few. MOP, theme for Felabration 2013

The theme for Felabration 2013 which kicks-off in August is Movement of the People (MOP). It was unveiled by the Felabration Committee recently in Lagos. Commenting, an official of the Felabration Committee stated that Felabration has become an annual tradition that celebrates the legacy of Fela Anikulapo Kuti and this year, the event will be bigger and better. “This year’s theme is Movement of The People (MOP) and it is tied around the title of one of Fela’s best known songs, Movement of The People (MOP), which incidentally was also the name of the political party he formed in 1979. The choice of this theme by the Felabration Committee connects with Fela’s legacy as the only Nigerian musician to have a cult-like following. Movement of The People as a vehicle of social engineering was a progression from Young African Pioneers, another mass movement platform initiated by Fela which documents Fela’s belief in inspiring a mass movement of people that could effect the type of changes he advocated on the African continent.” Felabration, an annual celebration of the heritage of late Afro beat musician, Fela Anikulap-Kuti. It holds every October at The New Africa Shrine in Lagos and attracts visitors from all over the world.

Son to resuscitate Alade Aromire’s legacy

Son of deceased actor, Alade Aromire, Boilaji Aromire, has finalized plans to resuscitate his father’s rested channel, Yotomi Television. Confirming the news, Bolaji disclosed Superbass that Yotomi TV will soon be on air again and broadcast on Daarsaat. He added that necessary innovations and measures have been perfected to make the station a pace setter. Meanwhile, ace broadcaster Dare Alabi Best, has been drafted as the General Manager. Yotomi was rested when the elder Aromire died a couple of years ago.

Big Brother star, Ola, is in serious trouble! The thickly set dude, who hit fame and stardom last year after he and his partner, Chris, decided to opt out of the reality show mid-way, confessed to Skoops that ever since the experience, his life has not been the same.

It has emerged that Jazz critic and former Fela manager, Benson Idonije, played a pivotal role in the introduction of Konga drums into Afro beat, the revolutionary and anti-establishment genre created by the late Afro beat maestro.

According to the one time manager of the late Afro beat maestro, when Fela started his brand of music which was a fusion of African percussions and Jazz, one instrument that was glaringly missing was the konga. However, when it was infused, it enhanced the richness of the sound.

According to Idonije: “ It was I who actually introduced konga into Afro beat. Before then though his style of music had a lot of African percussions, there were no Kongas. Then I was his manager and I mentioned it to Fela but Fela was indifferent so I went to Ojuelegba Bus Stop and bought Fela’s first set of Konga drums with my own money.”

Idonije remained Fela’s manager until the pair parted ways when Fela’s music took on a radical hue attacking the government of the day.

A series of tweets posted last week by BBA girl, Karen Igho, suggest that somebody is trying to intimidate and bully her on the social network platform. An obviously angry Karen had posted thus: ‘People are taking my kindness for weakness,’ which was followed shortly by another tweet, ‘don't come to my handle to disrespect me you won't get my attention. I will just block you simple and short.’ Expressing her disgust she had later tweeted, ‘It is sad how people will go to any length to get your attention. Stop the twitter bullying. All set for TOTAC 2013

All is set for the second edition of A Tale of 2 African Cities (TOTAC 2013), which will hold in Johannesburg, South Africa, from September 25 to September 28. According to Ayoola Sadare, boss of Inspiro Productions, the platform behind the initiative in conjunction with the South African High Commission in Nigeria and Johannesburg Tourism, it promises to be a fusion showcase of Nigeria and South African arts, culture, business and tourism. “As I speak to you, plans have been wrapped up for a fabulous event which will run from September 25 to 28. Like the maiden edition which held in Lagos, it’s going to be a showcase of Nigeria and South African arts, business, cuisine and tourism to mention a few. It will also provide Nigerian corporate bodies, businessmen and brands an opportunity to make inroads into the South African market. Both cities, Lagos and Johannesburg have a lot in common because they share many similarities and attributes that help shape and influence other cities. They are no doubt both very influential,” he said. He added that TOTAC 2013 will unveil richer and more meaningful experiences and advance African unity. The first edition was held in October of last year in Lagos at the Freedom Park, Lagos Island and the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.

MTV Base shares free condoms

Music cable channel, MTV Base gave unusual gifts to guests when it launched Shuga, a TV series dedicated to reorienting youths on responsible sexual behaviour last week. And guess what, it was free packs of condoms for all who attended the event which held at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Guests giggled and laughed as they received the gifts, which also included Shuga branded speakers and USB cables among others. Shuga is a TV series started by MTV Base in Kenya a couple of years ago. It seeks to promote responsible sexual behaviour among sexually active youths across the continent.

Alariwo of Africa has sensationally revealed how his wife and mother of his three kids stole to support him when he was nobody. “I met my wife in Oregun, Lagos,” Alariwo said going down memory lane, “she came with her best friend to see her best friend’s boyfriend then. Immediately I saw her, I knew I had met my wife. What struck me was that we looked alike. I playfully told her that I would marry her. She just gave me this disgusting look. Then I was nobody so I could understand her. The year was 1995. But I did not give up as I kept chasing her,” Alariwo disclosed. One person who just couldn’t be ignored because of his dress sense was veteran musician, Victor Uwaifo who graced the event all dressed in gold pants, suits, shoes along with a silver coloured shirt and a diamond encrusted tie. “I designed this myself,” 72-year-old Uwaifo told TS Weekend while responding to questions on how much the suit cost. “I am a total artiste, a sculptor and a lecturer so I do a lot of things myself including designing this suit,” he enthused.
