CHUDDY K OWES ME TWO ALBUMS- WALE KUKU

Contrary to statements credited to Chudy K that he has quit SQN, Wale Kuku, Boss of SQN Media & Entertainment, owners of SQN Music, the label which discovered the act and recorded his hit single, Gaga Crazy, has declared that Chudy K is still with the platform.

In a chat with superbassnaija, Wale Kuku disclosed that he was shocked when he heard claims credited to the act that he had quit SQN: “To tell you the
WALE KUKU
truth, I heard on radio and TV that he was done with SQN and I was shocked because we had a perfect relationship. It was later he told me he was done with SQN and I couldn’t believe it!”

According to him, he has no issues with Chuddy K’s desire to jump ship. However he says if Chuddy K wants to leave, it must be done legally. “He has all rights to say he is done but it has to be done within the ambits of the law; it has to be done legally because there is a binding contract. To be honest with you, I really don’t know what led to his decision to leave. He just came to say he was done and next thing was that I heard from his lawyers that he had
left and the next thing I heard was that he had started, Kens Records, his own record label.

”If Chuddy K insists on leaving, its either we do it amicably and we both agree or he buys out his contract like Van Persie did at Asernal. His contract is legally binding and it is only a court of law that can dissolve it. He owes SQN two albums and the contract will expire in December of 2014.
“I have invested millions on him and I have not even made a dime from my investment and he wants to walk out on his contract; that’s not possible. I never expected this from him but now that it’s happened, I have to deal with it. Thank God we have other artistes on the label,” Kuku concluded.
